Derivatives Business Systems Analyst

• Partner with trading, operations, risk, finance, compliance, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for derivatives systems.
• Translate derivatives business processes into feature definitions, process maps, data mappings, interface specifications, and user stories.
• Analyze front-to-back trade workflows including trade capture, confirmation, valuation, settlements, collateral, margin, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support enhancements and production issues involving APIs, batch processing, trade feeds, market data, and reporting pipelines.

This role supports the operational efficiency and risk management of Athene's derivative investment and hedging strategy, enabling the company to fulfill its financial commitments to policyholders and contribute to a stable financial system.

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in fintech or financial services technology.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives products such as swaps, futures, options, forwards, or structured products.
• Solid understanding of the derivatives trade lifecycle and associated operational and system processes.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, data analysis, and system interfaces.

Annual salary range: $112,088.80 - $168,133.20 USD. Discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included. Inclusive and dynamic work environment.
