DCS, IT Design Specialist

• Convert customer requirements into conceptual IT designs and prepare associated documentation.
• Create and document detailed IT designs, deploy solutions in lab and field, and support testing and commissioning.
• Participate in technical reviews and present designs to customers and engineering groups.

This role supports the design and deployment of mission-critical IT systems for Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC), enhancing the safety, reliability, and efficiency of rail transportation, which contributes to sustainable urban mobility.

• University degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Industry IT certifications (Microsoft, VMWare, CompTIA).
• Knowledge of Microsoft client/server OS, Active Directory, Linux, VMWare, Docker/Kubernetes, and automation scripting (Bash/PowerShell, Ansible).

Total Compensation Range (Base Salary + Annual Incentive plan): $76,465 - $98,188 CAD.
