Data Governance Lead

• Implement and mature the enterprise data governance strategy, including data catalog, metadata management, data quality, and data security.
• Lead the definition and documentation of data governance processes, including data lineage, data dictionaries, and data quality controls.
• Drive ongoing data governance by chairing steering committees, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Operate, monitor, and report on data quality and data security, including defining metrics and KPIs.

This role ensures that data across the organization is governed effectively, improving data quality, consistency, and trust, which enables better decision-making and innovation that can positively impact industries and society.

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, analytics, or data management roles (12+ years overall).
• Expert understanding of data concepts such as data definitions, metadata, lineage, and quality.
• Strong experience using data catalogs or metadata management tools and implementing data quality programs.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with ability to work cross-functionally and engage senior executives.
