Data Engineer

• Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using AWS Glue and modern cloud tooling
• Develop and optimise data models and AWS-based warehousing solutions for analytics and machine learning use cases
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science and BI teams to ensure high-quality, accessible and trusted data
• Deploy and manage machine learning models in production using AWS SageMaker

By building scalable data pipelines and machine learning solutions, you will help reduce empty truck miles, improve supply chain visibility, and drive sustainability outcomes across the Australian freight industry.

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience across AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, SageMaker, Aurora and related tooling
• Strong Python skills and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CDK
• Solid understanding of ETL pipelines, data modelling and modern data warehousing concepts
