How to Apply for Customer Success & Adoption Specialist - 12 month FTC

at Kaluza

🏢 About Kaluza

Kaluza is at the forefront of the energy transition, providing intelligent software that empowers suppliers to accelerate decarbonization. Working here means contributing to a mission-driven team that combines cutting-edge technology with sustainability goals, offering a unique opportunity to make a tangible environmental impact.

About This Role

As a Customer Success & Adoption Specialist on a 12-month contract, you will be the trusted advisor ensuring clients maximize the value of Kaluza's platform. You'll design and deliver tailored training programs, drive platform adoption through coaching and support, and use feedback to continuously improve learning materials, directly influencing customer satisfaction and retention.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with a virtual check-in with a client to review their team's progress on the platform, followed by analyzing adoption metrics to identify areas for improvement. You could spend the afternoon designing a new e-learning module on a recently released feature, then wrap up by delivering a live workshop to a partner's team, gathering feedback to refine future sessions.

🎯 Who Kaluza Is Looking For

  • Has proven experience designing and delivering training programs in a SaaS or technology environment, with examples of driving measurable adoption outcomes.
  • Excels at simplifying complex technical and business concepts into clear, engaging learning materials (e.g., workshops, e-learning modules, guides).
  • Is a confident and dynamic facilitator, comfortable presenting virtually and in-person to diverse audiences, including C-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a collaborative, proactive approach with strong relationship-building skills, able to work across client, partner, and internal teams.

📝 Tips for Applying to Kaluza

1

Tailor your resume to highlight specific SaaS training programs you've designed and the adoption metrics you improved (e.g., user engagement, feature usage).

2

In your cover letter, explicitly connect your experience to Kaluza's mission of decarbonization and how your training skills can help clients achieve sustainability goals.

3

Prepare a portfolio or examples of training materials you've created (e.g., workshop slides, e-learning modules) to showcase your ability to simplify complex concepts.

4

Research Kaluza's platform and current energy market trends in Australia to demonstrate industry awareness in your application.

5

Mention any experience with post-training support and continuous improvement processes, as the role emphasizes driving adoption through ongoing coaching.

✉️ What to Emphasize in Your Cover Letter

["Emphasize your passion for sustainability and how your training expertise directly contributes to Kaluza's mission of enabling decarbonization through software adoption.", 'Highlight specific examples of designing and delivering training in a SaaS environment, including metrics that show increased platform adoption or customer satisfaction.', 'Showcase your ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor rather than just a trainer.', 'Demonstrate your adaptability for a fixed-term contract by expressing enthusiasm for impactful projects and a results-driven mindset.']

💬 Prepare for These Interview Topics

Based on this role, you may be asked about:

1 Describe a time you designed a training program for a complex SaaS product. How did you measure its success in driving adoption?
2 How would you tailor training for a client with low technical literacy versus a highly technical audience?
3 What metrics do you consider most important for tracking customer adoption, and how would you use them to improve training?

⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Failing to provide specific metrics or outcomes from past training programs; vague claims like 'improved adoption' without numbers weaken your application.
  • Not tailoring your application to the energy or sustainability sector; generic SaaS experience without connecting to decarbonization may seem out of touch.
  • Overlooking the fixed-term contract aspect; avoid expressing desire for long-term stability, and instead emphasize your focus on delivering impact within the timeframe.
