Counsel

• Research and devise innovative legal arguments and litigation approaches, managing case or project teams as needed.
• Recruit and retain clients and plaintiffs; engage with outside counsel, co-counsel, and opposition counsel.
• Develop and drive complex strategies for litigation, policy reform, and integrated advocacy projects.
• Contribute to culture-building initiatives across the organization.

This role directly protects the integrity of U.S. elections and counters authoritarian threats to democracy, ensuring free and fair electoral processes.

• Five to ten years of legal experience (including clerkships).
• Experience in election law or voting rights law and/or impact litigation or policy advocacy.
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships and work in a team environment.
