Contract Grant Writer

• Research and identify grant funding opportunities
• Generate LOIs and proposals for current and prospective funders
• Prepare grant budgets and expense reports
• Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities

This role helps secure funding for a bilingual theatre company that produces plays about human rights and uplifts immigrant communities, ensuring their stories are heard and human dignity is honored.

• 2-4 years experience in grant writing for theatre and/or arts organizations with a proven record of successful grant writing
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and grant databases
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work collaboratively and independently
