Consultant, Hydrogeology modelling

• Support ERM modellers in development and calibration of numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport models.
• Support junior colleagues, Project Managers, and Task Managers in analysing field data and data reporting, including preparation of technical annexes such as groundwater maps, stratigraphic logs, and lithological sections.
• Support site characterization and remediation projects, and liaise with other project team members.

This role contributes to ERM's mission of delivering meaningful environmental impact by supporting complex sustainability projects, particularly in site investigation and remediation, ensuring high-quality technical delivery and efficiency.

• Strong knowledge of the latest versions of MODFLOW (MODFLOW-USG / MODFLOW 6).
• Proven experience using PEST for model calibration.
• Excellent hydrogeological expertise, including knowledge of hydrochemistry and contaminant degradation mechanisms.
• Competence in geostatistics and experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
