Mission
What you will drive
Roster of geospatial and Earth observation consultants supporting IFAD's agricultural development projects through spatial analysis, remote sensing, and digital mapping.
- Apply GIS, spatial analysis, and remote sensing to project identification, targeting, monitoring, evaluation, and climate risk assessment across IFAD's global portfolio.
- Develop geospatial workflows using Python, R, Google Earth Engine, and cloud platforms; automate raster and vector processing and build reusable analytical tools.
- Produce cartographic products, interactive web-GIS applications, dashboards, and spatial databases following UN and IFAD standards.
- Master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Geography, or related field; 2+ years relevant experience (senior roles require 12+ years).
- Excellent English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or Arabic an asset; experience in agriculture, climate adaptation, natural resource management, or monitoring and evaluation preferred.
