What you will drive
The consultant will develop a competency-based curriculum framework and comprehensive training package for Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) for the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in India. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing a structured CSSR curriculum aligned with NDRF doctrine and international standards (INSARAG, NFPA).
- Creating interactive training materials: facilitator guides, participant workbooks, slide decks, exercise guides, and assessment tools.
- Providing technical recommendations on training facility design, equipment, and simulation infrastructure.
- Facilitating consultations and validation workshops with ADPC and NDRF stakeholders.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Advanced degree in disaster management, emergency management, civil/structural engineering, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in developing training curricula for disaster response, with strong focus on CSSR/USAR.
- Proven operational experience in CSSR/USAR, including response operations and training delivery.
- Strong familiarity with INSARAG Guidelines, NFPA standards, and competency-based training design.
