Consultant Ecologist

• Support preparation of high-quality bids and tenders for ecological services in energy, transport, and water sectors.
• Plan, schedule, and organize ecological project work, ensuring resources, budgets, and controls meet program and budget requirements.
• Deliver high-quality ecological consultancy and advisory services, including technical reviews and protected species licence applications.
• Author or technically check project deliverables such as ecology chapters for environmental statements.

This role contributes to creating a better world by supporting renewable energy, river restoration, active travel, and urban regeneration projects that enhance biodiversity and environmental sustainability.

• Experience in ecological consultancy, including project management and bid preparation.
• Knowledge of biodiversity net gain, appropriate assessment, and environmental impact assessment.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work on renewable energy, infrastructure, and urban regeneration projects.
