We are looking for a highly organized, enthusiastic, and relationship-driven fundraising professional to join our collaborative, close-knit team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, initiative, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for building meaningful relationships with donors, partners, and community members. As a valued member of our Fundraising Team, this individual will play an important role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, supporting donor engagement and stewardship efforts, coordinating fundraising initiatives, and helping advance the mission and goals of our organization. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who is detail-oriented, motivated by impact, and excited to contribute to the continued growth and success of our organization through thoughtful, strategic, and impactful fundraising efforts. Main Responsibilities: Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work under the direction of our Event Coordinator and provide support to the Development Coordinator, as needed Partner with the Communications Manager to create communications that increase awareness of and engagement with community events Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of campaign efforts across departments Campaign Leadership & Execution: Supports the strategic planning, and oversees execution, logistics, and optimization of assigned fundraising campaigns Ensure campaigns are executed with excellence, innovation, mission-focused, and alignment to organization standards Experience with Peer to Peer fundraising events Proven track record of increasing event participation and revenue Revenue Accountability: Serve as a revenue driver for events within portfolio, owning performance from inception through to completion Monitor financial performance and proactively adjust strategies to ensure individual portfolio goal attainment Donor & Volunteer Engagement: Cultivate, solicit, and steward fundraising teams, sponsors, and event hosts Build and maintain strong relationships to drive engagement, retention, and long-term support Performance Management & Data Analysis: Assist with donor development, stewardship, direct communications and fundraising strategy Leverages Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports What Weโre Looking For: Proven experience of three or more years in fundraising, donor relations, or development support within a nonprofit Successful track record of planning and delivering meetings and events for 100+ attendees Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor communications and reports Proficiency with donor databases and fundraising systems (e.g., Bloomerang, Salsa) and the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with fundraising platforms such as Qgiv and GalaBid is required Experience with graphic design tools, such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator. Experience using project management software to organize workflows, manage deadlines, and track project progress Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor stewardship strategies, and event coordination Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment Ability and willingness to travel up to 15 times per year for meetings and gala events, with travel often occurring on weekends and in the fall Capable of standing for prolonged periods and lifting and moving heavy items Must reside in the continental U.S. A background check is required Location Requirements: This is a full-time, remote position with a semi-flexible schedule. The role requires regular participation in virtual and in-person meetings, constituent interactions, and organizational events. Travel is also required for up to 15 meetings and events annually, often on evenings and weekends, representing approximately 10โ15% of overall work time.
