Communications Manager

• Develop and execute communications strategies across digital platforms, email, media outreach, and program-specific initiatives to increase awareness of IREC’s mission and impact.
• Draft and edit communications materials including blog posts, press releases, website content, and program updates, translating complex clean energy topics for diverse audiences.
• Manage digital channels (social media, website) and email communications, including newsletters and audience segmentation.
• Track and analyze communications metrics to strengthen impact and support internal reporting.

This role amplifies IREC’s work to accelerate clean energy adoption and energy efficiency, contributing to a reliable, resilient, and equitable clean energy future that benefits people, the economy, and the planet.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public policy, environmental studies, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional communications experience with excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience with email marketing tools, CRM systems, and managing organizational social media accounts.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to collaborate effectively.
