Communications Coordinator

• Draft and edit compelling written communications for newsletters, fundraising appeals, program announcements, website content, and promotional copy.
• Manage EEFC's social media presence, including promotional campaigns, audience growth, and community engagement.
• Design digital and print marketing assets and create short-form video content for promotional purposes.
• Support fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship, including donor acknowledgments and annual campaigns.

This role helps connect people to Balkan music, dance, and cultural traditions, fostering cross-cultural understanding and preserving folk heritage for future generations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience managing digital marketing and communications, including social media and email marketing.
• Experience with basic graphic design (preferably Canva) and digital mailing platforms (e.g., MailChimp).
• Experience updating website content via WordPress; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Part-time (approx. 10 hours per week), $20-25/hr commensurate with experience. Remote work with occasional travel to EEFC events (travel and lodging fully compensated). Opportunity to work with a passionate community and contribute to cultural preservation.
