Role details
Build a venture developing on-demand plant resilience technologies to help crops withstand climate stress during critical growing windows.
- Refine technical thesis on priming mechanisms, commercial strategy, regulatory positioning, and fundraising approach for Series A readiness.
- Lead cross-functional work spanning plant biology, delivery systems, field trials, IP strategy, and regulatory compliance.
- Recruit co-founding team and advisory board; prepare for investment committee review and company spin-out by end of Q2 2027.
- Requires PhD or equivalent R&D expertise in plant physiology, crop science, or molecular biology with translational execution track record.
- Requires entrepreneurial mindset, first-principles thinking, and demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
