Chief Principal Software Engineer- Cloud

• Lead the architecture for connected vehicle Azure cloud platform, driving design decisions for scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency across backend, data, web portal, and mobile app.
• Engage in hands-on development of cloud-native services, APIs, event-driven systems, and data platforms while providing technical guidance to the team.
• Establish architecture standards, coding practices, and design patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions; mentor engineers and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers and product owners to remove technical roadblocks and help the team deliver sprint commitments.

This role directly contributes to building connected vehicle IoT solutions for mission-critical fire, refuse, and concrete mixer trucks that protect communities and help everyday heroes perform under the toughest conditions.

• 8+ years of experience developing backend software and APIs for cloud-native applications.
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core or similar.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies (Azure Functions, Event Grid, Event Hub, Web PubSub, Communication Services, Service Bus).
• Experience designing cloud data stores (ADX, SQL, time-series, CosmosDB, Redis) and event-driven architecture.
