Mission
What you will drive
- Oversee T'ruah's daily financial operations, including cash management, accounts receivable/payable, and compliance with grant and funder requirements.
- Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting to the leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Manage risk, compliance, cybersecurity, IT systems, and serve as primary liaison to the PEO for payroll and benefits.
- Supervise the finance and technology team and serve as a strategic partner to the executive office and Board.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of experience leading finances for a small-to-mid-size nonprofit or large department, including monthly closes, budgeting, and projections.
- Strong collaborative and adaptive leadership skills with experience supervising staff and giving clear feedback.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management and attention to detail, with a commitment to T'ruah's mission.
Benefits

Salary range: $105,000 – $150,000 per year. Benefits include: 100% employer-paid medical premium for employee (50% for one dependent), employer-covered basic life/AD&D insurance, optional dental/vision/FSA/HSA, 3% automatic 403(b) contribution after one year, 15 vacation days (increasing to 20 after first year), 34 holidays including Jewish and federal holidays, Summer Fridays, floating holiday, 12 weeks paid parental leave. Remote position with preference for NYC area.
