Mission

What you will drive

  • Support research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to advance healthy, plant-based, organic, and climate-friendly school food policies in California.
  • Gather and track data from K-12 school district menus to identify trends in climate-friendly practices.
  • Assist with outreach to school nutrition teams, government agencies, and non-profit partners.
  • Develop communications materials such as newsletters and presentations to share program progress.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in environmental studies, public policy, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
