Blue Carbon Intern

• Support the development of funding applications, proposals, reporting materials, and marketing content.
• Collaborate with in-house teams, funders, NGOs, and partners to advance project objectives.
• Assist with project management, including tracking plans, KPIs, and budgets.
• Contribute to technical documentation, research, and thought leadership in carbon project development.

This role contributes to the conservation and restoration of critical blue carbon ecosystems in West Africa, mitigating climate change, boosting community resilience, and protecting biodiversity while creating sustainable economic opportunities for coastal communities.

• Experience in one or more components of carbon project development (e.g., stakeholder engagement, fundraising, communications, project management, financial analysis, community development, conservation, carbon accounting).
• University-level degree in environmental science, environmental policy, marine science, communications, finance, international development, forestry, sustainability, or related field.
• Superlative written and verbal communication skills; English required, French a plus.
• Familiarity with operating in developing countries, ideally in Africa.
