Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide legal assistance and support to nonprofit organization clients, including reviewing, drafting, and finalizing contracts, grant agreements, policies, leases, registrations, resolutions, tax, and corporate forms.
  • Research tax and other federal, state, and local laws such as lobbying, charitable solicitation, and governance matters.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, communicate directly with clients, and manage project timelines and budgets.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • JD degree and licensed to practice law in the US in good standing; licensed in PA mandatory (or eligible to waive in), with additional licenses (DC, DE, NJ, NY, MD) a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant law experience with strong demonstrated interest in serving nonprofits (pro bono, board service, volunteerism, or working with underserved clients).
  • Nonprofit law and/or corporate law experience required, with focus on corporate transactional law, complex contracts, and agreements; familiarity with taxation, real estate, or employment law a plus.
  • Responsive, excellent listener, independent, self-sufficient, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
