Associate Director or Director, Program Innovation and Evidence

Lead innovation and evidence-building for AI-enabled weather forecasting services reaching millions of smallholder farmers across low- and middle-income countries.
- Own forecast message testing through A/B tests on format, framing, and delivery to optimize farmer comprehension and behavior change.
- Scope and pilot new forecast delivery channels including chatbots, WhatsApp, SMS, and social media to assess reach and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with academics to develop novel forecast types, managing roadmaps and potentially supervising postdoctoral researchers on model benchmarking.
- Lead cost-effectiveness analysis and monitoring/evaluation coordination with in-country teams to drive continuous program improvement.
- Requires 5+ years in program innovation, evidence-building, or agricultural development; strong quantitative and stakeholder engagement skills essential.
