Mission

What you will drive

  • Oversee federally funded subgrantee projects, budgets, and grants, serving as primary liaison and advisor to subgrantee leadership on programming, budgets, and compliance.
  • Deliver financial and program technical assistance and capacity-building to subgrantees, including coaching, site visits, and monitoring calls.
  • Draft budgets, grant narratives, work plans, and reports for federal and non-federal grants; establish systems and standard operating procedures for financial and program activities.
  • Lead grant application, review, and scoring processes; create and revise cooperative agreements, MOUs, and vendor contracts.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Five years of progressive experience in budget analysis, grant management, capacity-building, program management, or social services in nonprofit, grantmaking, or government sector.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MSW, gerontology, business, or public administration).
  • Understanding of intersection of finance, budgets, programming, and grants in nonprofit/foundation context; experience with multi-year budgets and grant compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel); strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel for site visits.
