Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead all VoteRiders programming in Arizona, including partner outreach, voter engagement, and policy monitoring.
  • Develop and implement a state-specific strategic plan for partner organization outreach and engagement.
  • Supervise the Arizona State Organizer and manage state field programs to meet goals.
  • Represent VoteRiders externally with partners, media, and stakeholders.

This role ensures that Arizona voters, especially those from communities disproportionately impacted by voter ID laws, receive the education and assistance needed to obtain proper identification and exercise their right to vote.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in community organizing within democracy or political space, and coalition-building.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience, particularly managing staff and volunteers in a remote environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work with diverse and at-risk communities.
  • Willing to travel within Arizona and work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
