Application Manager

• Manage Application Management Services (AMS) for assigned applications, covering the full operational lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, handling escalations and ensuring structured, transparent communication.
• Coordinate and govern external AMS service providers and internal support teams to ensure services are delivered according to agreed SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
• Ensure applications comply with Hitachi Energy IT governance, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance requirements.

This role ensures stable, compliant, and high-quality application management services that enable reliable business operations at Hitachi Energy, supporting the company's mission to advance a sustainable energy future.

• 10+ years of experience in Application Management, AMS, or IT Service Management in a large enterprise or global organization.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Vendor Management).
• Solid understanding of IT governance, compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management in application landscapes.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
