Role details
Support clean electricity and carbon market policy development to accelerate decarbonization in California and emerging jurisdictions.
- Conduct research, track policy developments, and support advocacy strategies for carbon markets and electric sector decarbonization.
- Analyze proposed regulations and legislation across emissions, economic, health, and equity metrics.
- Write white papers, policy memos, and public communications including formal comments and op-eds.
- Requires 3+ years relevant experience and Associate's degree; Bachelor's in environmental science, policy, or economics preferred.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with demonstrated interest in climate policy and environmental equity.
