AI Policy Research Resident, Associate / Specialist, Center on AI, Security, and Technology

• Contribute to AI policy research projects by conducting analysis, drafting written products, and owning significant project components.
• Own key research deliverables including research design, technical policy analysis, framework development, and stakeholder interviews.
• Draft policy briefs, research memos, and reports for technical and senior policy audiences.
• Present analyses and reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role directly shapes AI governance and security policies, helping to ensure that AI development aligns with national and global security interests.

• Strong analytical and research skills in AI policy or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to monitor and analyze U.S. and international AI policy developments.
• Experience with stakeholder interviews and policy analysis.
