Role details
Foresight seeks AI-first research proposals in nanotechnology, whole-brain emulation, and longevity to accelerate scientific breakthroughs before advanced AI development.
- Develop AI methods for nanoscale design, simulation, assembly, and closed-loop fabrication of molecular machines.
- Advance whole-brain emulation through cheaper brain mapping, connectomics, or lo-fi behavioral prediction approaches.
- Create tissue replacement, organ synthesis, or reversible biostasis technologies to extend human lifespan.
- Grants of $30,000–$100,000 for projects with concrete 1–3 year milestones and open-source deliverables.
- Applicants should commit to active, in-person participation at Foresight research nodes.
