Mission
What you will drive
- Manage all day-to-day accounting operations as the sole in-house accountant, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Oversee grant financial management, including tracking, drawdown, forecasting, and reporting for federal, foundation, and other restricted grants.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and budget-to-actual reports, and support audit preparation and internal controls.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 7+ years of general accounting experience, including 3+ years in managerial-level financial reporting and 2+ years with grant-funded programs.
- Highly proficient with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, QuickBooks, or similar platforms; familiarity with federal grant compliance and government platforms (e.g., EERE-PMC, VIPER, ASAP, FedConnect, PAGE).
- Strong foundation in nonprofit accounting standards (ASC 958) and GAAP; experience as primary liaison to external audit firm.
