Accountant (remote)

• Prepare and post accounting transactions including A/P, A/R, payroll, and journal entries for nonprofit clients.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closes, and prepare financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, track grant funding, and support external audits.

This role empowers mission-driven nonprofit organizations by providing accurate financial management, enabling them to focus on their social impact and grow sustainably.

• 5+ years of full charge bookkeeping or equivalent accounting experience.
• Full understanding of accrual accounting and strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and comfortable with accounting software.
