About This Role

As a 2027 Summer Fellow, you’ll conduct essential research on emerging legal and regulatory issues in advanced science and technology, analyze statutes and case law, and synthesize complex technical information into actionable legal strategies. Your work will directly inform LASST’s advocacy targets and litigation efforts, helping to prevent man-made pandemics, AI-induced catastrophes, and other global harms. This is a 10-week, full-time remote fellowship for two interns.

You might spend your morning researching statutes and case law on AI liability or biosecurity regulation, then synthesize findings into a memo for the legal team. In the afternoon, you could join a remote strategy call to discuss advocacy targets or draft sections of a legal analysis that will inform LASST’s campaigns.
