Working Student Software Engineering (m/f/d)

Core responsibilities:

• Discover, evaluate, implement, and deploy software solutions for core customer-facing products
• Extend and maintain business-critical applications
• Help shape actionable requirements from complex and undefined business problems
• Foster a culture of experiment-driven innovation within the team
• Improve developer experience and customer satisfaction by reducing tech debt, automating processes, documenting decisions, and building quality software
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and software engineers

You will work on transforming the business of installing renewable technologies to power the energy transition in private homes and small businesses worldwide, accelerating the energy transition and having a direct impact on our climate.

Required qualifications:

• Enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters, studying computer science or comparable field, willing to work 20 hours per week
• Some experience writing maintainable, testable code with TypeScript and other back-end/full-stack technologies
• Basic knowledge of designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Agile, results-oriented mindset with passion for supporting the team
• Creative, enthusiastic approach to tackling new challenges
• Excellent spoken and written English (German is a plus)
• Residency in Germany
