Organizational Overview: EnCorps advocates for equitable STEM education. Anchored in our belief that underrepresented students belong in STEM, we recruit, prepare, and support STEM professionals to explore meaningful volunteer opportunities in high-need schools. For many, this experience leads to pathways into teaching. Together, these efforts strengthen the teacher workforce and expand student access to high-quality, industry-connected science, technology, engineering, and math education. We see a future where students from under-resourced schools have the education, confidence, and skill set to succeed in an increasingly complex and diverse world. Position Summary Reporting to and in partnership with the Director of Workforce Partnerships and Impact, the Workforce Partnerships and Talent Manager supports the end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution for EnCorpsโ STEM Teachers Program, managing a statewide pipeline of 200+ candidates in California annually. This full-time (40 hours/week) position is responsible for proactive candidate outreach and sourcing, conducting initial partner outreach, and supporting recruitment strategies that build a strong and consistent candidate pipeline. Position Start Date: October 1, 2026 Location: Remote: Los Angeles or Orange County required Compensation and Benefits Work from home with a flexible schedule Salary range: $70,000-$75,000 Mileage reimbursement Paid time off and US national holidays, plus birthday Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plan 401k plan 2% match after 1 year Primary Responsibilities Recruitment Strategy & Pipeline Management Supports the end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution for a candidate pipeline of 200+ applicants for EnCorps STEM Teachers Program Monitors recruitment KPIs to identify trends and recommend adjustments that support annual application and onboarding goals. Designs and continuously improves full-funnel recruitment and onboarding workflows, including sourcing, screening, structured interviewing, and offer coordination Outreach & Candidate Sourcing Drives outreach to attract STEM professionals, military veterans, postdoctoral students, and advanced-degree holders considering a transition to teaching Delivers recruitment webinars, info sessions, and presentations to prospective candidate audiences Represents EnCorps at job fairs, conferences, and community events; conducts in-person presentations when appropriate Identifies and builds relationships with professional associations, employers, and graduate programs as ongoing candidate referral sources Employer & Institutional Partnerships Conducts and coordinates targeted outreach to professional associations, employers, and graduate programs to expand EnCorpsโ candidate referral network Maintains regular communication with partners, assesses the effectiveness of recruitment partnerships, and identifies opportunities to strengthen engagement Data & Systems Keeps Salesforce data accurate and up-to-date to support KPI reporting, dashboards, and year-end reporting Delivers monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership on pipeline performance, conversion, and partnership outcomes Grant & Compliance Support Contributes recruitment benchmarks and narrative content to grant and funder reporting External Representation Represents EnCorps at regional and national conferences, job fairs, and stakeholder events Represents EnCorps and communicates its mission and program at public-facing and corporate events Accountabilities Collaborates across the organization to create and support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, teamwork, and empowerment Provides excellent service to internal and external constituents Ensures timely communication with Fellows, staff, and partners Maintains current knowledge of all EnCorps programming Represents a positive and professional image of EnCorps Understands and complies with policies and practices outlined in the EnCorps Employee Handbook Qualifications We are seeking candidates who believe deeply in our organization's mission, thrive in a dynamic environment, and demonstrate a record of achievement. Successful candidates will also demonstrate: 3-4+ years of full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition, or admissions experience preferred; Prior experience working in education or with students in some capacity (e.g., teaching, tutoring, school-based advising, or similar) strongly preferred Prior California teaching credential preferred Proven track record improving pipeline conversion and program completion metrics through data-driven process redesign Experience managing external partnerships Excellent communication and writing skills Impeccable organization and attention to detail Outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building skills Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment Ability to analyze data and translate trends into actionable recruiting strategy Willingness to engage in regional travel Reliable local transportation required Working knowledge of Salesforce, Google Workspace, and professional social platforms (LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.) An unwavering commitment to educational equity and passion for STEM Because EnCorps does not have a physical office, the Workforce Partnerships and Talent Manager will need to be comfortable working remotely, with occasional non-standard hours (evenings/weekends) and periodic in-person team meetings within Southern California.
