Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Promote the profile of the RAF Benevolent Fund's welfare offer while carrying out welfare casework in the South Wales region
- Undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (telephone/online) and in-person across the region
- Work with individuals who may have complex and challenging welfare needs, identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and wider statutory/military charity sector
- Ensure support is made available to meet needs through the case working process

Required skills and experience:
- Experience working in a social welfare role supporting individuals
- Strong people and relationship-building skills
- Empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community
- Must have own vehicle for traveling around the region covered
- Enhanced DBS Checked
- Must have the right to work in the UK
