Web and Graphic Designer (part-time, 6-month contract)

Core responsibilities:

• Utilize UI design and front-end development skills to support a rolling refresh of Terraformation's Webflow websites, creating visual and messaging hierarchy aligned with evolving campaigns
• Design, edit, and refine keystone slide decks and presentation materials in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate mission, projects, and strategy
• Create short-form video content from existing photo and video assets to support storytelling, engagement, and campaign amplification
• Design a variety of branded materials such as flyers, posters, and campaign collateral for events, outreach, and partnerships

This role creates positive change by visually communicating Terraformation's message and engaging audiences to accelerate forest restoration, which captures carbon and combats climate change through compelling visual content that promotes awareness and drives engagement for forest restoration and sustainability.

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in graphic design, digital communications, or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating strategic and executional work
• 2+ years of experience designing and maintaining Webflow websites
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and presentation software
• Experience with video editing tools and short-form digital content creation
• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals and narratives
• Passion for climate solutions, sustainability, and mission-driven work

Compensation: $55-$65 per hour (part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week). This is a 6-month contract with possibility of extension depending on business need. Remote work environment with location restriction to United States.
