What you will drive

Core responsibilities for this role include:

  • Designing and delivering essential water infrastructure projects including pipelines, pumping stations, and sewer upgrades across Scotland
  • Supporting flood and surface water management through implementation of flood solutions, blue/green infrastructure retrofits, and Natural Flood Management measures
  • Driving innovation in climate resilience and low-carbon design for water infrastructure using gravity-fed systems, carbon-efficient materials, and renewable technologies
  • Tackling complex engineering challenges in remote and rural locations with focus on environmental sensitivity and reliability
