Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide policy and financial analysis on drinking water, wastewater, and storm water infrastructure financing, sustainability, and resilience.
  • Conduct data and statistical analyses, literature searches, and reviews to support policy initiatives and assess impacts of policy decisions.
  • Provide project management support, including strategic thinking, managing analyses, ensuring client satisfaction, and facilitating information sharing across projects.
  • Write or edit guidance documents, reports, case studies, presentations, and other documents.

This role supports EPA and other government clients in substantially improving Americaโ€™s water infrastructure, advancing resilience of public funding programs, and ensuring access to clean drinking water, replacement of lead service lines, and more resilient water systems.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • BA/BS and 5 yearsโ€™ work experience in environmental management, public policy, public administration, finance, economics, municipal administration, or similar role OR a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Understanding of statistical, financial, and economic methods applied to policy questions; knowledge of public financing principles preferred.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills; experience producing reports that communicate technical analyses for the general public.
  • Experience using Excel or other software to analyze data; experience with R, Python, SQL, STATA, or MATLAB a plus.
