VP, Public Relations & Communications (USA-based)

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive PR and communications strategy aligned with corporate goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers
• Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols and act as spokesperson during critical situations
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing PR and communications team while managing budgets

This role shapes how D2L communicates its mission to transform education globally, helping improve human potential through modernized learning solutions that engage and inspire learners of all ages.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in PR and strategic communications, including leadership roles
• Proven success in managing media relations, media strategies, and crisis communications
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills with strong analytical abilities
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; Master's preferred

Compensation and benefits:

• Base salary range: $210,000 - $245,000 USD
