Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead CDI's communications strategy and narrative, setting annual editorial priorities and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership.
  • Elevate CDI's executive and thought leadership profile through op-eds, media placements, and public appearances.
  • Drive earned media presence and manage crisis communications to protect organizational reputation.
  • Provide editorial leadership for owned media, including newsletter and blog, and manage the Communications & Content Manager.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 10โ€“12 years of experience in strategic communications or PR with a track record of building organizational reputation in complex environments.
  • Established media relationships across national, higher education, and mission-aligned press.
  • Exceptional judgment and ability to navigate politically sensitive situations with nonpartisan restraint.
  • Strong writer and editor with experience producing high-quality thought leadership and executive communications.
