VP of Finance

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as key partner for CEO in assessing financial health and analyzing implications of strategic decisions
• Lead annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting processes in partnership with CEO and Senior Leadership Team
• Direct accounting activities including bank reconciliations, monthly close process, and financial statement creation
• Monitor cash flow, ensure compliance with restricted donor gifts, and lead annual audit and tax return processes

This role stewards the financial sustainability and strategic growth of Chill Foundation, ensuring resources are effectively managed to inspire young people through boardsports and build a more equitable outdoor community.

Required qualifications:

• 15+ years of professional experience in non-profit finance (for-profit finance considered)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (or equivalent experience)
• Advanced accounting and financial management skills with expertise in GAAP and financial reporting
• 10+ years experience managing junior finance staff through full performance management cycle
• CPA or CFA certification preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks with extensive financial systems integration experience

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $107,890 - $115,980 hiring range, $107,890 - $140,260 full range
