VP Engineering, Remix by Via

• Lead the entire Remix engineering organization, setting technical direction, operating model, and culture for a product suite used by transportation agencies and cities worldwide.
• Define and execute long-term engineering strategy across Remix Planning, Scheduling, Streets, and emerging product areas, partnering closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and Customer Success.
• Drive engineering excellence, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, execution, and customer impact while shaping products that solve real-world transportation challenges.
• Guide the evolution of Remix into an AI-native engineering organization, leveraging AI to transform transportation planning and improve engineering productivity.

This role directly improves public transportation systems, enabling greater access to jobs, healthcare, and education for communities worldwide by leading the technology that powers modern transit planning and operations.

• Extensive engineering leadership experience with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations.
• Experience leading complex technical software products, ideally in SaaS, enterprise software, developer tools, mapping, transportation, logistics, or data platforms.
• Strong technical credibility across modern software architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data-intensive applications.
• Product-minded leader who values craftsmanship and understands how engineering, product, and design teams collaborate to create software customers love.

Salary range: $350,000-$400,000 USD (final salary determined by experience, knowledge, and skills). Benefits include free medical plans, 401K matching, catered lunch on Wednesdays, and many other perks.
