Mission
What you will drive
- Advise on the design and architecture of scalable ESG data ingestion pipelines (web scraping, APIs, corporate filings, open datasets, news feeds).
- Provide guidance on parsing, extraction, and transformation strategies for semi-structured sources (HTML, PDF, JSON), including schema design and normalization approaches.
- Recommend data modeling and storage patterns (relational, NoSQL, data lake/warehouse) for ESG metrics, time-series measurements, and provenance tracking.
- Review and advise on data quality, validation rules, monitoring, lineage, and reproducibility practices.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Demonstrable experience in data engineering, data pipelines, or backend data systems with an advisory mindset.
- Strong proficiency with Python and common data tooling (parsing libraries, ETL frameworks, data processing libraries).
- Familiarity with web scraping and extraction techniques, PDF/HTML parsing, and approaches to extract structured signals from corporate documents.
- Experience or knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
