Mission

What you will drive

  • Build statewide grassroots power and engagement in Virginia to oppose new fossil fuel infrastructure and promote clean energy solutions.
  • Develop and implement grassroots advocacy activities, plan educational events, and promote civic engagement on energy legislation and policies.
  • Collaborate with communications team to utilize media and social media for unified messaging, and recruit/manage interns and volunteers.

What makes you a great fit

  • Demonstrated experience with community engagement and grassroots organizing, including leadership development, volunteer coordination, and strategic campaign implementation.
  • Excellent writing, communication, public speaking, and listening skills; event planning and facilitation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including overnight; flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
