Video Editor / Producer

Responsibilities / What You'll Do

• Create compelling visual content that brings stories of hope and renewal from reforestation projects to life, inspiring action to drive the mission forward
• Shepherd projects from concept to completion, crafting videos that educate, entertain, engage, and motivate the global community
• Produce diverse content for multiple platforms including promotional videos, social media reels, documentary shorts, project stories, and digital advertisements
• Work collaboratively with the Photo/Video team in the Marketing Communications department to strengthen the One Tree Planted brand

This role creates positive change by producing visual content that brings stories of hope and renewal from reforestation projects to life, inspiring action to drive the organization's mission forward and strengthen the brand's environmental impact message.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional video editing experience (nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Strong creative writing and script skills, experience with remote editing workflows, and excellent project/time management skills
• Experience producing content for broadcast TV, documentary, digital ads, or investigative style storytelling

Compensation and benefits:

• Typical starting salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 USD
