Video Editor

Core responsibilities:

• Translate IMEU's stories into effective visual content across platforms by editing, adapting, and optimizing videos for social platforms
• Collaborate with writers, strategists, and content producers to ensure narrative cohesion, visual consistency, and alignment with communications strategy
• Edit and adapt short- and long-form video content based on approved concepts, scripts, or briefs that inform, contextualize, and inspire engagement
• Edit rapid-response, explanatory video content based on news developments and approved messaging

This role creates positive change by translating complex political and cultural issues into accessible, engaging media that informs and inspires engagement with Palestinian rights and social justice issues.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in video editing
• Strong storytelling skills with an eye for visual narrative, pacing, and clarity
• Demonstrated background in digital publishing and social media formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and CapCut
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to IMEU's mission and a passion for social justice and Palestinian rights
