Vice President, Strategy & Origination

Core responsibilities:

• Lead strategy development and market analysis for solar and battery storage projects, including new market opportunities and competitive bidding
• Originate offtake agreements including community solar subscriber acquisition, storage hedge products, and power purchase agreements (PPAs)
• Develop and execute new market entry plans considering permitting requirements, revenue opportunities, competitive analysis, and political landscape
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for customer acquisition and management services

This role drives the expansion of renewable energy projects (solar and battery storage) that contribute to sustainability and climate change mitigation by developing market strategies and originating revenue opportunities for clean energy solutions.

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of strategy/market development/origination experience with focus on renewable energy
• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, energy systems, finance, or related field
• Proven ability to develop relationships, negotiate complex agreements, and manage vendor relationships
• Analytical and financial modeling skills within Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
