Mission
What you will drive
- Lead IREC's Regulatory Team and attorneys to develop and execute a multi-state strategy advancing distributed energy resource (DER) regulatory best practices.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of the organization's regulatory program, including partnership and funding development.
- Contribute as a member of IREC's Executive team to shape strategies and direction for bold clean energy and energy equity goals.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 8+ years of work experience with familiarity in public utility regulation, distributed energy resource policy, and state policy/advocacy.
- Graduate degree in energy/environmental policy, public policy, environmental science, sustainability, law, engineering, or related field.
- Deep understanding of the electricity grid and U.S. energy system, including technical, procedural, and legal challenges for DER integration.
- Expertise in DER interconnection policy and regulatory frameworks across states; strong fundraising, project management, and staff management skills.
