Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead IREC's Regulatory Team and attorneys to develop and execute a multi-state strategy advancing distributed energy resource (DER) regulatory best practices.
  • Provide national and state leadership on core regulatory policy issues: interconnection, grid modernization, energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure integration.
  • Develop and implement IREC's regulatory strategy, oversee policy tools and reports, and drive fundraising and partnership development.
  • Contribute as a member of the Executive team, shaping organizational strategies to achieve clean energy and equity goals.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of work experience with familiarity in public utility regulation, DER policy, and state advocacy.
  • Graduate degree in energy/environmental policy, law, engineering, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of the electricity grid, U.S. energy system, and DER interconnection policy.
  • Strong fundraising, project management, staff management, and communication skills.
