Vice President, Operations and Culture

Core responsibilities:

• Operationalize and optimize the Equity Fund's strategy through designing, building, and contracting for effective financial, grants management, HR, and operations systems
• Integrate and strengthen financial, operational, and compliance functions to support mission achievement
• Steward values-centered culture, change management processes, and ongoing organizational development as the Equity Fund scales
• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Director of HR People & Culture, Director of Finance, and Senior Director of Grants Management, Systems, and Compliance

This role strengthens the operational infrastructure that supports grassroots organizations working at the intersection of climate change and economic, racial, and environmental justice, enabling the Equity Fund to more effectively build political will for equitable climate action and clean energy policy.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with strategic leadership in functional design to support programmatic excellence, finance, values-based HR, and c3/c4 compliance functions at a similarly complex philanthropic organization
• Demonstrated track record of delivering quality services, organizational improvements, and excellence in strategic, administrative, and budget management
• Experience in setting priorities, navigating change management, and proposing new ways to achieve desired outcomes with inclusive planning, problem-solving, and decision-making approaches
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience demonstrating ability to perform position's essential functions
