About the Role
The Vice President of Programs will lead the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of AAPIP's program portfolio to strengthen philanthropy's capacity to support AANHPI communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of AAPIP's program portfolio to strengthen philanthropy's capacity to support AANHPI communities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for program development, implementation, and evolution in alignment with AAPIP's strategic framework
- Serve on the Senior Leadership Team and build organization-wide systems, policies, and practices that support staff wellbeing, culture, and impact
- Proactively build on and strengthen AAPIP's thought leadership and relationships with philanthropic intermediaries, social justice funders, and community leaders

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in philanthropy or closely related fields with senior program and organizational leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent lived and professional experience
- Deep knowledge and understanding of AANHPI communities and/or community-based organizations
- Experience working directly with or within philanthropic institutions including private foundations, community foundations, public funds, giving circles, or philanthropic intermediaries
- Experience using systems and tools such as Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, Asana, and Neon CRM
