Mission
What you will drive
- Architect and drive a proactive global methane communications strategy for EDF's highest-leverage work, including MethaneSAT, oil & gas, agriculture, and livestock.
- Elevate the profile of signature methane initiatives as visible proof points of progress, navigating politically sensitive terrain.
- Lead global media relations, crisis communications, and high-impact campaigns for global audiences, partnering with science, policy, and advocacy teams.
- Manage a high-performing team of staff, consultants, and agency partners, and oversee the methane communications budget.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- At least 15 years' experience in communications, media, or related field, including at least 10 years in environmental, energy, government, or multilateral role.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic communications campaigns for national and global audiences, managing complex teams.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, ability to translate complex environmental science into accessible narratives.
- Strong knowledge of climate issues, experience communicating across sectors including investor and financial audiences.
